The symbolism in the composition:  the hyphenated last name of the two parents is represented by the two leaves and stem below the bud, the Rose bud represents the baby, and, the three leaves above the bud represent the date the three of them became a family.

“Buds by dvb” is a branch-off from the Fioretti Collection.  It consists of original, commissioned paintings celebrating the birth of a baby.  The common theme is a flower bud representing the beginning of a new life. 

All paintings are commissioned originals – no two are alike.  Two basic sizes are offered but custom sizes are available.  Flower bud suggestions are welcome and color preferences are appreciated.  Family history, Crests and any unique ancestry symbolism might also be considered for incorporation into the composition.  

The two basic size options are:
1.  12 inches by 12 inches, and
2.  10 inches by 14 inches.
